INCREDIBLE DAVE’S AND GOODLETTSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT TEAM TOGETHER TO SPONSOR THE
NATIONAL CHILD IDENTIFICATION PROGRAM
FRIDAY, AUGUST 6 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
800,000 children are missing each year.
Members of the Goodlettsville Police Department and Citizens Police Academy Volunteers will be fingerprinting children from the age of 5 – 9 years of age.
This program is an inkless fingerprint ID Kit that allows parents to store their child’s fingerprints in their own home. The fingerprint portion of the kit leaves no messy black ink on fingers or clothes. Each Identification kit consists of one inkless fingerprinting card, one DNA collection envelope, and a laminated wallet case for the child’s photograph. The DNA Wallet Card will carry the child’s basic information, a location for a brief description of the child, a picture of the child and the inkless thumb print.
The entire fingerprint process lasts for approximately five minutes. Once this process is completed, the Identification card can immediately give police the vital information to assist them with efforts to locate a missing child.
Incredible Dave’s and Goodlettsville Police Department are dedicated to protecting our children with this time to provide these fingerprint kits for our community.
